I have arrived

Hello! Enzo Kenji Chan's the name. Son of Ivan "Rabbit" Chan and Ramjeet Virik, grandson of Chris, June, Bhagwan and Mindy. Nephew of Joanna & Stuart, godson of Maybel and loved by all.

Welcome to my crib!

Obivously, I am still unable to write, or read, or do anything on my own, so there will be a few contributing editors to this blog site for the next... say 8-9 years. As this is my first blog, let me give you a pictorial overview of my adventure into this world.



Mummy waiting patiently for my arrival....




Well this was prior to me entering the world. She had contractions while at work but made it to the hospital at 8.30pm. Was at 4cm at 9pm, 8cm at 10pm and 10cm at 11pm. I could hear daddy shouting "Come one.. push! push! all the way! all the way! So I wrinkled my brow and helped mummy push out into this world. As you and I know, time waits for no man (or baby) so I made a speedy entry into this world before midnight. That's also, the Chinese side of me did not want to be born on the 4th... heh heh..


K-Ma (Maybel), Uncle Johann, Mama and Yeh-Yeh (at the back) excitedly waiting for my arrival. K-Ma's on the phone with Weng Khiong Ku-Ku who was, as usual, very enthusiastic and kan-cheong about the whole thing.





I was quite lucky in that I was not really wrinkly like old man. This picture was taken seconds after my delivery by daddy and everyone commented on how beautiful I looked at birth and how much I looked like daddy at first.. But of course I also know that they are biased. Shucks... family...








I love this picture of me and Mummy. She looked real happy I arrived safely and healthy. I on the other hand looked slightly shocked.





I dont know about you, but I reckon my daddy looks a bit star-strucked.. hee hee. First time daddy mah..




More pic of me on my first night here on earth. Mummy and daddy hardly slept the whole night! Poor things..

Of course K-Ma has been coming around to see me almost everyday and loves taking pictures of me in which I will show you in my next blog. I think Uncle Johann is now a bit jealous that she has a new love - ME! In the meantime, check out these ones..






I had a bit of a jaundice problem which got everyone a bit worried. Yeh- yeh could not sleep the whole night! They had to put me under the UV light.




This is daddy having his morning cuppa the day after I was admitted for Jaundice. Daddy is so funny..






Hahaha! Me and Mama have a real fun relationship where she does all these funny things to me and I just try to look cool while doing it.
